Artist Bio

DANYANG SONG 

(b. 1998, Shenyang, China, lives New Jersey)

Danyang Song integrates 3D printing and digital fabrication techniques into her ceramic practice. She holds a BFA from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and an MFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Providence, RI. 

Danyang's work has been exhibited nationally in Florida, Virginia, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut, as well as internationally in China, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Her works are part of the permanent collections of Tsinghua University and the Harvard Art Museum. She currently serves as the Ceramic Studio Manager at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
