Boundary Breaking Women: Women artists in the 20th and 21st century

15 July - 31 August 2022
Overview
We are excited to announce a special online exhibition highlighting women artists making waves in the 20th and 21st century with works created post World War II to the present.
Many of these artists worked in the shadows of male artists or mentors and in a period where women were considered less than their male counterpart. Recent shift in the way we view their career and practice sheds new light into how boundary breaking these women were. This exhibition is curated to bring the conversation of inequality and biases to the fore and at the same time serves to celebrate and center women in art.
